Executive Leadership

 

Anand Kulkarni
President & Chief Executive Officer

Before joining MXS, Mr. Kulkarni was the chief operating officer of KPS Global, a manufacturer of insulated panel systems based in Fort Worth, Texas. Like MXS, KPS provides custom-designed, engineered solutions to Fortune 1000 customers.  He has had a series of increasingly senior operating, sales and marketing roles including at Neenah Enterprises, Rexnord Industries and Cooper Power Systems (now part of Eaton). Mr. Kulkarni has an MBA from the University of Chicago and an electrical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

 

Keith Jenkins
Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administrative Officer

In his most recent position as CFO of Enquest Energy Solutions in Houston, Keith managed all facets of the business with the exception of sales. He also has some direct experience in the renewables industry, having worked at NextEra for 10 years (2004 – 2014).  One of his responsibilities during his NextEra tenure was managing the wind-powered electrical facilities portfolio.

 

Jeffrey Hood
Co-founder, Vice President -Business Development & Application Engineering

Jeff was the VP of Engineering & Business Development at MXS from 2014 to 2023. He has 29 years of experience and expertise in sales, business development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction. Within the past 10 years, Jeff and his team of engineers and project managers have managed over $500 million in modular production for numerous diverse markets.

Before joining MXS, Jeff was with Cellxion/Sabre Industries from 1998 to 2014. He was responsible for engineering, design, production management, delivery, and field installation for all Cellxion products. Jeff received his BSCET from Louisiana Tech University.

 

David Schoonover
Co-founder, Vice President – Development

David was responsible for sales & marketing activities for MXS when he joined the company in 2014 to 2022. He currently has oversight of environmental affairs, contract management duties and policies, and marketing responsibilities.

From 2008 to 2014, David worked at Sabre Industries (Cellxion), initially as Director of Sales & Marketing but ultimately as VP of Sales & Field Services.  In addition to management of the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) services group and field services division, he had responsibility for relationships and support of key telecommunications customers, including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and U.S. Cellular. David was part of Xerox Corporation as a Sales & Solutions Executive specializing in hardware and software sales primarily in the Healthcare industry from 2003-2008. In 2002, David received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

 

Kim Blankenship
Vice President – Operations

Kim is a licensed Airframe & Powerplant (Aircraft) Mechanic with 25+ years in aviation and 15+ years in leadership with teams of up to 650 employees. She has led teams in Manufacturing, Fabrication, Quality, Supplier Quality, Tooling, Equipment Services, Supply Chain, Facilities, EHS, Planning/Scheduling, and Production Engineering functions. Kim is highly skilled in Manufacturing Lean tactics driving exceptional performance results while continuously improving culture and morale.

Before joining MXS in October 2025, Kim was the VP of Operations for Elma Electronic. She oversaw three U.S. sites that specialized in designing, fabricating, and integrating ruggedized computing solutions. Prior to joining Elma, Kim spent nearly 14 years at Boeing. She gained valuable experience across numerous aviation manufacturing production lines and at multiple Boeing sites through various production life cycles.

As MXS’s VP of Operations, Kim is responsible for Production Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, HSE & Continuous Improvement. She looks forward to partnering with all of our MXS teammates to find ways to work smarter, not harder and have fun daily!

 

Management Team

 

Ben Mintz
Senior Director of Engineering

Ben blends engineering, fabrication, and hands-on problem solving to fuel innovation at Module X Solutions. He’s spent more than a decade in the energy and manufacturing sectors, working across operations, mechanical engineering, and large-scale fabrication. Before joining MXS, he led engineering and operations at Keystone Tower Systems and NOV.

Ben holds a mechanical engineering degree from North Carolina State University and has built a career around being both a builder and an engineer — whether it’s heavy modular systems, CNC machining, electronics, or automotive projects. He brings that same maker’s mindset to the teams he leads.

 

Mona Cross
Director of Supply Chain

Mona has been the Director of Supply Chain since MXS was formed in 2014. In her role, she directs the Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse/Inventory Control, and Shipping departments. Over the last 20 years, Mona has lead supply chain operations across a wide range of business sectors, including modular manufacturing, automotive, and telecommunication industries. As a result, she has experience and understanding of supply chain methodologies and best practices from both Fortune 500 companies as well as small business enterprises.

Warren Mitchel
Director of Production Engineering

Since joining the MXS team in 2014, Warren has been part of the leadership team serving as the Quality Director. His responsibilities include managing all the Quality Control Inspectors, maintaining the Quality Management System, and providing processes and documents that support product compliance for MXS’s customers. In his previous experience, Warren has worked at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Avaya, Beaird Industries, and Sabre Industries (Cellxion) where his role has been in new product introduction engineering, product management systems engineering, manufacturing support and quality. He has obtained a Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma as well as certification from the American Concrete Institute. In 1982, Warren received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, Geaux Tigers!

 

Michael Taylor
Director of Engineering Designs

Michael joined the Module X Solutions team in 2014 as Director of Engineering Design as part of the senior staff. Responsibilities include overseeing and implementing electrical, mechanical, and structural design as well as overseeing drafting. Prior to coming to MXS, Michael was the engineering manager at Sabre Industries for 5 years. He also served in the oil and gas industry, overseeing design and build out and maintenance for on shore drilling rigs. He was a partner in an electrical contracting company that performed residential, commercial, and industrial new builds and repair. Michael started his career with Fibrebond Corporation, where he worked on the plant floor in several different departments. During his 9.5 years of tenure there, he was also part of the electrical crew that wired the new plant after a devastasting fire. Additionally, he installed the automated Skako equipment and then was promoted and joined the Engineering department. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University 1998.

 

Richard Vaitkus
Director of Operations

Richard Vaitkus serves as the Director of Operations at Module X Solutions, where he leads operational strategies to ensure efficiency and quality across all manufacturing processes. With a strong background in automotive and industrial operations, Richard brings decades of experience in driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Richard began his career in materials management in the automotive industry, rising to Materials Manager and leading a greenfield launch. After eight years, he transitioned to operations, contributing to another greenfield launch and improving processes using his supply chain expertise. Following fourteen years in automotive, Richard moved into industrial manufacturing.

Known for his hands-on leadership and commitment to excellence, Richard collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and maintain compliance with industry standards. His leadership style emphasizes accountability, innovation, and teamwork, making him a key contributor to the company’s success.

 

Juan Vargas
Director of Continuous Improvement

Juan joined MXS in 2020 and now serves as Director of Continuous Improvement, leading initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic growth across the organization. With a strong focus on process optimization and innovation, Juan plays a key role in shaping continuous improvement strategies that deliver measurable results.

Before joining MXS, Juan worked as a Design Engineer at Pump Works, specializing in centrifugal pump design for the oil and gas industry. Earlier in his career, Juan served as a Product Engineer at Frozen Beverage Dispenser (FBD) in San Antonio, where he supported custom product designs, improved reliability through design enhancements, and contributed to next-generation product development.

Juan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.

 

Steven Arnold
