Organization and Responsibility

Module X Solutions recognizes its obligation as an employer and contractor to conduct business activities in a manner that will safeguard the health and safety of all personnel and protect the natural environment. Our HSE program is designed to comply with established Safety Standards, provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and other applicable federal, state, and local safety codes.

MXS places the highest priority on the well-being and safety of our employees and the preservation of the environment. There is no aspect of our operation or administration having greater importance than loss prevention.

Responsibility for the promotion of safety and environmental protection begins with our CEO and goes through management to each employee. All employees have a legal and moral obligation to take all reasonable care for their health and safety and that of others. MXS employs a dedicated HSE Manager who is responsible for the implementation of programs relating to safety and the environment. Line supervisors are directly responsible for ensuring that safe work procedures are followed.

Elements of an Effective HSE Program

Management Commitment

At MXS, management provides the motivation and resources for maintaining a safe work environment. In an ever-evolving industry, it is the role of our management team to clearly state worksite policies and to set and communicate goals to each employee. By demonstrating management involvement and encouraging the involvement of employees, we are prepared to face the many challenges it takes to create a safe workplace. MXS regards worker safety and health as a fundamental value and will commit to it with as much vigor as any other aspect of our operations.

Employee Involvement

MXS encourages employees to develop and express their own commitment to safety in their daily work. By making safety the responsibility of each employee and supporting their efforts with authority and resources when needed, we are building a culture where individuals take pride in protecting themselves and their fellow workers.

Worksite Analysis

MXS employs a variety of worksite examinations to identify potential and existing hazards. Production workers, supervisors, and HSE personnel all participate in analyzing the work we do to anticipate and prevent harmful occurrences. Routine inspections, periodic surveys, and job hazard analyses each have a role in hazard identification. MXS’ management works diligently to address employee concerns, investigate accidents and near-misses, and monitor injury and illness trends over time.

Hazard Prevention and Control

Where hazards or potential hazards exist, controls are designed and implemented to prevent injury. Whether by engineering controls and process design, or with physical barriers such as machine guarding, MXO will exhaust every effort to make the development of our products safe and efficient. Communicating hazards and precautions to our workforce is a vital key to the success of our HSE program.

Safety and Health Training

We believe a productive work force is one that is educated, informed, and engaged. Our Training Program is designed to address the safety and health responsibilities of all personnel. Educational sessions may take many forms at MXS, be it in a formal classroom setting or hands-on with a specific tool or work procedure. Interactive computer-based training modules are used regularly to keep employees and supervisors current on industry standards and safe work practices.

Environmental Management

Protecting the environment is extremely important for the present, but absolutely crucial for the vitality of our community for future generations. Module X Solutions maintains an environmental management program designed to meet or exceed regulatory standards. We strive to limit our impact on the ecosystems in which we work and live by reducing waste streams wherever possible. By maintaining clean and efficient production facilities, we hope to do our part in ensuring the longevity our surroundings.
